Duc-Tite is a rugged gasketed ductile iron piping system for low temperature hot water or chilled water service.

Duc-Tite is a easy to install, energy efficient quality piping system with a push-on type joint. The carrier pipe is Class 51 for 3” and 4” and Class 50 for 6” through 18” ductile iron pipe. Insulation is a thermally efficient polyurethane foam with a ‘K’ factor of 0.16 at 70ºF. The heavy wall PVC or HDPE casing and heavy duty compression end seals prevent ground water infiltration.

In the field, the system is easily adaptable to other materials with commercially available fittings. Fittings are uninsulated ‘push-on’ cast iron designed to be used with the carrier pipe. Rubber ring ‘push-on’ fittings make changes in direction simple.

Duc-Tite ® Joint

The Duc-Tite joint provides for expansion and contraction through the use of a rubber sealing ring placed in the groove of the bell. The joint compensates for expansion, contraction, and earth movement without addition stress on the pipe. There is no need for loops or other expansion devices.
